The Centre for British Studies (CBS) was founded by the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Belgrade in February 2017. In April 2017, the Council of the Centre was appointed.
The Centre has the following activities:
- Providing of research facilities for the study of British-Balkan relations, British parliamentary traditions and British political thought.
- Organisation of conferences in the field of British-Balkan relations, parliamentary traditions and the rule of law.
- Organisation of visits of prominent lecturers from the UK.
- Organisation of special educational programmes.
