  1. Paschalis Kitromilides, An Orthodox Coomonwealth, book launch, December 15, 2017

The first presentation in CBS took place on December 15, 2017. Prof. Paschalis Kitromilides, former visiting lecturer at Oxford and Cambridge, took part in the book-launch of his book in Serbian An Orthodox Commonwealth. Speakers included: Prof. Nenad Ristović of the Faculty of Philosophy, Prof. Slobodan G. Markovich, FPS, Mr. Dragan Berkuljan, editor in Zavod – The Serbian Textbook Company, and the author. Director of Zaovod, Mr. D. Kojcic also addressed the audience.

  2. Kevin Featherstone, Director of the European Institute/LSE, “Brexit” and its Implications for the UK and Europe, April 28, 2018

On April 27, 2018, Prof. Kevin Featehrstone, Head of the European Institute of the London School of Economics and Political Science delivered a public lecture “ ‘Brexit’ and its Implications for the UK and Europe” at the Faculty of Political Science. Prof. Featherstone explained the background of Brexit, he discussed various possible models and their implications. The event was co-organised by the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence and the Centre for British Studies of FPS.  The lecture encouraged a lively discussion. The visit of Prof. Fearherstone with organized with the support of the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Belgrade.

The lecture was attended by EU specialists, BA, MA and PhD students in European Studies, Dr Tanja Miščević, the chief negotiator of Serbia with the EU, Ms. Suzana Grubješić, Seceraty-General of the European Movement in Serbia, professors and assistants from the Faculty of Political Science etc.
